Discover FormeNUANCES: Contemporary Carpets on Display at Salone 2022.
Imago, the contemporary collection born in 2020, evolves and gives rise to FormeNUANCES, a multifaceted proposal that unfolds in "Radius," "Signum," "Sectio," and "Figura," picking up the interplay of abstract forms and shades, now also understood as gradual transitions from one shape to another. The creative process involved a division of the different forms represented in the carpet to create new compositions that better adapt to the morphology of the spaces to be furnished. The individual geometries – lines, triangles, and circles – overlap with colors, leading to unthinkable results and causing the carpet to take on ever-changing shapes.
The visual deception of Imago returns to captivate the imagination of those observing the new carpets. The "Save The Date" for Salone 2022 reintroduces the basic geometric shapes, broken down and displayed individually, as fixed elements that, once set in motion, will generate the new designs. The invitation is to visit the booth of Platinum Custom Rugs, Hall 12 booth E18, to see the result of these evolutions.
With FormeNUANCES, chromatic harmonies are created on irregular shapes. The carpet frees itself from the constraint of the rectangle and leaves room for the compositional fantasy of the designer and the client. Moreover, some of the proposed subjects lend themselves to being cut, so as to separate their parts, following the main line that characterizes them, to create carpets that are different in shape each time and potentially in continuous movement within the home space. The idea, born from the practical need to follow the lines of the furnishings, becomes a truly new solution to create an interior design that amazes at first glance.
