They are therefore suited to personalized interpretations, playing with shapes and colors. In the Illusio.Due carpet presented here in variant A, the designers at Platinum Custom Rugs have created a palette based on gray, accentuated by two contrasting tones, mustard yellow and teal, selecting from the most beloved shades to those rediscovered in these times of a revival of 1970s interior design.
The Illusio.Due carpet reproduces a parallelepiped structure in which perspective gradually shifts until it becomes absurd. This creates a sense of movement and indeterminacy that leads to the paradox of optical illusion. The dense pile is achieved with natural fibers, wool and tencel, to provide both warmth and shine to the artifact simultaneously, and it is hand-knotted, the most prestigious technique for furnishing textiles.
